Aim: The goal of this session isfor participants to gain a broad understanding about HIV epidemiology in the world and in Vietnam.

 

Objectives: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Explain HIV epidemiology in the world, Asia, and Vietnam
• Describe characteristics of the HIV epidemic in Vietnam
• Explain the current and planned future national strategy on HIV/AIDS
