IMPACT MED project coordinated with MOH Health Professional Education and Training (HPET) project and Thai Nguyen UMP to organize 3-days international workshop on Pre-Clinical Curriculum Reform (11 – 13 June 2018) – with the objective is to support 4 UMPs (Hai Phong, Hue, Thai Nguyen and Thai Binh) review Year 1 modules and courses of 6-years course before submitting to MOH for application in school year 2018-2019.

The workshop was attended by Vice-minister of Health Le Quang Cuong, received technical advice from Harvard Medical School experts – Dr. Lisa Cosimi, Dr. David Duong, Prof. Deepali Ravel and representatives of HPET/MOH project and World Bank.

This workshop builds upon the previous workshops where participants learned about backwards course design, creating SMART learning objectives, assessment strategies, course/content integration and curricula material development. This international workshop provided 4 UMPs the critical step in finalize the Y1 course, which are significant achievement in 6-years general doctor curriculum reform.
